複雑な社会的交互作用事態における一般的行動特性の個人差を弁別検出し得る検査法を構成し、これを規準化することができれば、【◯!1】交互作用事態における実験事態で個人の結果を比較検討したり、【◯!2】個人的特性を予め統制して個人差に基づくバイアスを実験前にできるだけ除去したり、【◯!3】個人の行動特性を積極的に主変数にして各種の事態との関係を調べることを可能にする点で有効となる。本研究は、こうした事情をふまえて、社会的な一般的行動特性の基盤となる「社会的動機」(social motive)を社会的交互作用事態を抽象化したゲーム事態での選択行動の側面から直接的に効率よく検出できる検査技法の開発を目的としたものである。これは、ある意味では社会性に関して新たな視点に基づくパースナリティ検査を提起することにほかならない。本研究はすでにある程度方法論的に具体化している「IF-THEN法」(IF-THEN method)と対称分解型ゲームの形態を利用した「分解ゲーム法」(decomposed game method)の2種の方法を理論的・実験的に比較検討したものである。前者は2×2型30課題、後者は9×2型48課題の利得行列が用いられるが、ともに最終的には9種の社会動機(単利・自虐・献身・加害・共栄・共倒・優越・卑下・平等)の混合比で表現されるものである。両方法とも計算機上への具現化、実験的比較は完了したが、総合的にみて、分解ゲーム法は単一利得行列でひとつの動機成分を検出できる利点はあるものの検査結果の明確性・安定性に関してはむしろ4利得行列でひとつの動機成分を検出するIF-THEN法の方が優れている結果を示した。したがって、検査法としてはIF-THEN法を標準的検出法として確立すべく、最終成果としては構成過程・実施方法・分析方法・応用研究例も含めて必要情報が記載された一般利用が可能なかたちで公表されるマニュアル(大型計算機・NEC9801利用)を完成した。

The results show that the IF-THEN method is superior to the IF-THEN method in terms of clarity and stability of the results obtained by comparing the results of computer visualization and implementation with the results obtained by integrating and decomposing the results. The IF-THEN method is a standard method of identification, establishment, and final results. It is a method of implementation, an analytical method, and an example of application. It contains necessary information to document general use, and a list of possible uses (mainframe computer NEC9801).
