本研究の目的は、フィヒテの知識学に内在する独自の論理を、事実と当為（規範性）の関係をめぐる一種の規範主義としてモデル化し、フィヒテの著作そのものの文脈から離れて「現実とは何か」を問い直すための参照軸として利用可能にすることである。その際、フィヒテの立場を現代のメタ倫理学ないし社会哲学的な議論の文脈の中に位置づけることを試みる。当初計画において、1年目に当たる2022年度は、もっぱらフィヒテ自身のテクストを検討し、その論理構造を詳細に解明するとしていた。これについてはおおむね計画通り研究が進行し、主要な成果を、日本シェリング協会第31回学術大会における招待講演「初期フィヒテの超越論的論証　――「人間精神が決して脱出できない循環」を読み解く試み――」として発表した。一方で、研究を進めてゆく中で、当為ないし規約と密接に関わる観点として、二人称性が重要性なのではないかと考えるようになり、第11回国際フィヒテ協会大会において"The Not-I in the Second-Person and the Third-Person Standpoints"という題目で口頭発表するとともに、その原稿に加筆修正を加えた論文"The Second-Person Standpoint and the Fichtean Not-I"を、Philosophia Osaka, No. 18に掲載した。さらに、二人称性と当為の関係について、現代の行為論や倫理学の観点から論じた論文「行為の記述をめぐるコンフリクトと、二人称性の問題」を、『メタフュシカ』第53号に掲載した。また、現代の倫理学や社会哲学への接続に向けた研究の一環として、第42回批判的社会理論研究会において、哲学者シェリル・ミサックの著作Truth, Politics, Moralityについて報告を行った。
