项目摘要

第一に、アフォリズムとその編集の問題に焦点を当て、「ドイツ初期ロマン派によるアフォリズム集『アテネーウム断章集』はどのように出版・編集されたか？」という編集文献学的な問いに立脚してこの課題に取り組んだ。例えば当著作の初版は、編著者フリードリヒ・シュレーゲルの方針により、個々のアフォリズムに見出し・番号などの情報が付されないままで出版された。19世紀以降の複数の普及版、さらに戦後の批判全集版に至る一連の編集・出版では各アフォリズムに通し番号が施されており、18世紀当時の初版における形式面での特殊性（＝特異なアフォリズム受容形態）は失われていることが分かった。その反面、文献資料としての利便性（引用の簡便さ、各アフォリズムを番号によって呼称・表記・参照できる等）が確保されたことになる。アフォリズム編集をめぐるこの変化は、19世紀の実証主義を背景にした精神科学の学問化・制度化と軌を一にする現象であると仮定している。この成果は国際論集への寄稿（ドイツ語）というかたちで2本の論文にし、国内外へと発信することができた。第二に、上記の課題の範疇で、これ以外に、初期ロマン派の詩人ノヴァーリスによる遺稿アフォリズム群『一般草稿』についても調査した。具体的には、2022年に新刊された『一般草稿』の新編集版と、それまでの版との特徴を〈百科全書〉ないし〈書物〉の理念との関連から分析した。ノヴァーリスのアフォリズムに関する研究は継続課題であるが、現時点での成果を学会にて口頭発表し、意見交換・討論の機会を得た。本研究代表者はこれまでに、「断章」の作家として知られる初期ロマン派シュレーゲルにおける「アフォリズムを書くこと」をめぐる具体的な実践のプロセスを、手稿資料に基づいて詳細に検討してきた。第三に、このアプローチを本研究でも引継ぎ、これらの成果を集約した単著を刊行することができた。
