项目摘要

本年度は、(i)南琉球におけるm語尾終止形とそれと相補的に現れる他の述語形の意味機能と分布 (ii)北琉球におけるri終止形とm終止形の意味機能と分布 (iii)諸方言における連用形終止用法の意味機能と分布について、与那国島、沖縄本島、徳之島の各地において予備調査を計画していたが、コロナ禍の影響を受け、特に現地調査について制限の強い中での研究実施となった。そのような制限の中でできることとして、主として北琉球の津波方言（沖縄本島）、平田方言（奄美大島）について、通信などを組み合わせた調査を行い、それぞれの方言における文法記述を進めた。津波においては、動詞形態論および各種助詞に関する調査・分析を進め、助詞に関する発表を１件行ったほか、動詞形態論の論文の投稿準備を行っている。平田方言については、方言の概要を正確に把握するための語彙調査、動詞形態論を含む文法調査を進め、報告資料としての投稿を準備中である。また、池間西原方言（宮古島）の情報構造に関わる助詞に関して、学会発表および論文の発表を行った。そのほかの地域では主として先行研究・文献による研究を進め、予備調査票の作成・改善を進めた。
