小学生を対象とした「いじめ被害回避プログラム」の開発に向け，以下の3つの視点で研究を進めた。まず第1にいじめ予防・防止アプローチの視点となる「いじめ感度」というものに着目し，「いじめ感度尺度」を作成し，その妥当性と信頼性を確認することができた。「いじめ感度尺度」については，因子分析の結果，「いじめ鋭敏性」と「いじめ対処志向」の2因子があることが明らかとなり，「目の前のいじめに対していかに敏感に察知することができるのか」という視点と，「目の前のいじめに対していかに対処していこうとしているか」という視点があることが示唆された。第2に，上記の「いじめ感度」を高めるための，「いじめ被害回避プログラム」として小学校現場にて活用することができる，いじめ予防・防止アプローチの授業を開発した。これについては，小学校の授業時間45分を1単位時間とし，計3時間にて構成されるカリキュラムを開発した。内容として，「いじめとはどういう行為のことを指すのか」「いじめの状況においてどのような立場があるのか」「いじめに気づくためにはどのような側面に着目したらよいのか」などのことについて，事例などをふまえて，小学生が考えていくことができるというものである。これについて，実施に小学校5年生において授業を行い，その授業前と授業後において「いじめ感度」を測定したところ，授業前に比べて，授業後に有意に「いじめ感度」が高まるという結果が得られた。第3に，この「いじめ感度」について教師がどのように捉えているのかについても調査を行った。小学校教員500名，中学校教員500名を対象として調査を行ったところ，若手教員に比べて，中堅教員やベテラン教員の方が「いじめ感度」が有意に高いことが明らかとなった。これらの知見をふまえて，今後，教員にとって現場で活用しやすく，より効果的な「いじめ被害回避プログラム」を構築していきたい。
