项目摘要

本研究は、中小規模病院の看護師がやりがいを持って日々の看護を行うことができるための支援指針の開発を目的とする。本研究を通して、スタッフ看護師がやりがいをもつことができるための環境の整備や支援方法を導き出すために管理者が活用できる指針を開発することを目指す。研究1年目に当たる本年度は、以下を実施した。1. 看護師のやりがいに関する先行研究のレビュー：看護師のやりがいに関して文献レビューを行い、現状と今後求められる研究について検討した。その結果、看護師のやりがいに関しては精神科や小児科などの特定の診療科に所属する看護師のやりがいについて調査した研究が多いことが明らかとなった。また、特定機能病院などの大規模な病院を対象とした研究は見られているものの、中小規模の看護師を対象にやりがいを明らかにした研究はないことが明らかとなった。2. 中規規模病院の看護師のやりがいの構造の解明：中規模病院で勤務する看護師のやりがいについて聞き取り調査を行った。その結果、中規模病院に勤務する看護師は、環境要因を基盤にしつつ、患者と顔が見える関係性等の患者との近接性を感じ、患者中心のケアを提供することにやりがいを感じていること等が明らかになった。
