2022年度は、本研究課題の申請に先立って実施した有用性の検討結果から抽出した修正の方向性、および専門家の意見をもとに看護ガイドを再編した。有用性の検討結果からは、より簡便なアセスメントシートの検討、患者が記入できるチェックシートの導入、看護師の自己学習箇所と患者教育用資料の明確化、歯科医にも持参できる様式にする、視覚的に学習を支援できるような動画を用いた視聴覚教材が必要であることが明らかになった。そこで看護ガイド修正版は、看護師の自己学習用と患者教育用の資料を2つに分けた教材とした。患者教育用の資料には、患者が記入できる口腔チェックシートを追加し、資料の大きさは、患者が歯科医に持参できるよう糖尿病連携手帳と同様のサイズとした。また看護ガイド修正版について、糖尿病専門医1名、歯科医師1名、歯科衛生士2名に協力を求め再編を行った。その結果、看護ガイドの原案にある[1]アセスメント（口腔アセスメントのポイント、アセスメントシートを用いた評価の手順）、[2]糖尿病外来での口腔管理支援（口腔清掃、口腔管理のための食事支援）、[3]歯科受診の促し、の学習内容に、残存歯の数え方を[1]に追加した。また[2]について、看護師が糖尿病外来で無理なく実行可能な実践方法にポイントを押さえた内容となるよう修正し看護ガイドを完成した。さらにこれと並行して、糖尿病診療における口腔管理に関する療養指導の学習を支援する視聴覚教材の作成に着手しており、その臨床への適用性の検討についての準備を進めている。看護師が糖尿病患者の口腔管理に関心を持ち、口腔管理を主体的に行えるようにするために、看護ガイドを作成できたことは、臨床看護上において意義が高いと考える。
