项目摘要
The first year saw the completion of the literature review and data collection phases. The research is employing a mixed-methods approach to identify, test and disseminate solutions to advance the sustainability of handmade ceramic practices. As previously planned, I completed a systematic review of 273 documents (books, articles and media) on sustainable solutions for handmade ceramics. I set up a new ceramic studio at the university to conduct material experiments (including purchasing equipment and materials), conducted interviews in Japan and fieldwork in the UK, and established a collaboration with Exeter University (UK) to produce the first LCA of studio pottery.
