项目摘要

本年度は、デ-タ検索の試行と、既存デ-タを補い、また対照させるための民謡旋律デ-タの作成を中心に研究を進めた。既に作成してある「関東地方のわらべうた」デ-タベ-スは、約2000曲のわらべうた旋律が蓄積されており、検索の基本的な枠組みの試行が行えるようになっているが、このシステムの検索系に音楽的知識の利用を試みた物である。通常のドキュメント検索の場合には、そのドキュメントに付けられたキ-ワ-ドが検索時の手がかりとなる。本研究においては、旋律の有する情報の内、どれがこのキ-ワ-ドの役目を果たす事が出来るのかを検索試行を通じて求めようとした。具体的には、旋律情報を音高、音価の2情報に分割したデ-タを対象とし、音価に対しては、リズム・パタ-ンの分析を試み、その特徴分布を考察しようとした。音高に対しては、その相対変化に注目し、旋律の時間的変化に対応する、音高の上昇下降とその変化率の推移を考察した。このような考察から、検索指令を分解し、プリミティヴな検索コマンドとし、実行する検索システムの構築を試行した。検索実験を通じて、民族音楽研究者側がら、対象としたデ-タがわらべうたであるために、比較的、旋律の動きに類型がみられる様であるとの指摘がなされた。ただ、その感覚をデ-タベ-ス中のデ-タの統計的性質として抽出し得た、という段階にはいたらず、今後に引き続き考察されるべき課題となった。また、日本民謡大観(日本放送協会編)をもとにし、新たに、東北地方に伝わる民謡を、これまでと同様な方法によりデ-タ化をおこなった。この民謡旋律デ-タは、その成立過程からも、わらべうたと良い対応をなすと期待される物で、民族音楽的な共通性からの知識抽出の母体として、システム開発の用に供して行きたい。
