项目摘要

平成11年度の課題は,福祉評価と分配の正義に関する道徳哲学・社会倫理学の研究成果を収集・精査して,(1)市場メカニズムに対する認識の構造と(2)厚生経済学の方法論的基礎との関連性という観点から,これらの理論的貢献を展望するというものであった。平成11年度の研究から得られた知見は,以下に記述する通りである。1970年代以降の諸研究は,厚生経済学の理論的支柱である功利主義に対する批判を共通の枠組みとして,ある意味での「原初状態」を仮想した社会契約論的な構造を持つ。この理論構造から導かれる福祉評価の方法と分配の正義に関する命題は重要な含意を示しているが,以下の様な欠点を持つことが解る。(1)市場の構造認識は意外にも極めて素朴な経済学的解釈を基礎とする。これが原因で,(2)歴史的に形成されてきた現実の市場の構造的特性が諸命題とどのように関連するのかが不明瞭である。(例:Senは機能する潜在的可能性を福祉評価の情報的基礎として,基礎的な機能に関する平等の達成を社会的正義と見るが,基礎的な機能を充足するための財市場が独占的競争市場である場合に,経済の構造的な動きが平等の達成にどのような制約を課すことになるのかを明らかにしていない。)(3)社会契約論的な構造では,倫理規範が社会の伝統や慣習を含めた歴史的要素に依存して形成されてくる側面を無視する。(4)この視点を回復する試みが共同体主義であるが,これを突き詰めると逆に経済社会の構造的特性に結びついた不平等を隠蔽する可能性がある。したがって,(5)平等とか社会的正義を議論する場合には,「妥協ないしは落ちの付け方」が経済社会の中で歴史的にどのように構造化されてきたのかについての認識と,経済社会の構造的特性と不平等との関連性についての認識が極めて重要になる。

Heisei 2011 Project: Collection and Review of Research Results on Moral Philosophy and Social Ethics Related to Well-being Assessment, Distribution and Justice,(1) Structure of Knowledge of Market Management,(2) Relevance of Methodology of Health Management, and Prospect of Theoretical Contributions. The following is a description of the research conducted in Heisei 11. Since the 1970s, studies have focused on the construction of the social contract theory, which is the pillar of the theory of health economics and the common structure of utilitarianism and criticism. The theoretical structure of this paper is based on the important implications of the method of well-being evaluation and the relationship between distribution and justice, and the following problems are solved. (1)The understanding of market structure is based on the understanding of natural economics. The reasons for this are: (2) the formation of historical facts and the characteristics of market structure. (For example, Sen has the potential to function as the basis for information on well-being evaluation, the basic function as the basis for achieving equality and social justice, and the basic function as the basis for sufficient financial market as the exclusive competitive market.) (3)The structure of social contract theory is based on the fact that ethical norms are dependent on social traditions and habits, including historical elements. (4)This view is based on the possibility of communitarianism and inequality. (5) Equality and social justice are discussed in the context of "compromise" and "social history", and the understanding of the characteristics of social structure and inequality is extremely important.
