项目摘要

研究目的近年、学習指導要領において郷土の音楽を取り上げて音楽科の授業を行うことが勧められており、地域共同体においても郷土の音楽を伝承していくことは大きな課題となっている。そこで、どこの地域でも郷土の音楽を音楽科の授業で行えるようにするために、郷土の音楽の教材化をしたいと考えた。郷土の音楽は、踊りやかけ声・口唱歌などが総合された民俗芸能であるので、音楽に「踊り」や「ことば」などの音以外の媒体をかかわらせた教材化を行うことにした。研究方法1. 郷土の音楽について文献等の資料を集め、地元の方へのインタビューなどのフィールドワークを行う。2. それぞれの郷土の音楽に適した音楽科の指導内容を検討し、授業実践を行う。3. 授業ビデオから抽出児童の活動や発言を分析し、他媒体をかかわらせた郷土の音楽の教材化の視点を整理する。研究成果本研究では、郷土の音楽のうち、祭囃子とわらべうたの教材化を行った。祭囃子を教材化する場合、その祭囃子の一貫したリズムパターンを楽譜や音符でなく、地域において伝承されているのと同様に口唱歌(ことば)を通して捉えたり、踊りや神輿の担ぎなどの身体の動きを通して捉えたりするなど、身体的に捉える場面を設定することが、子どもたちが知覚・感受を深め、その知覚・感受したことを演奏表現につなげることに有効であることが明らかとなった。わらべうたの教材化においても、わらべうた遊びをもとに、身体の動きを軸に教材化することで子どもたちの知覚・感受が深まり、演奏表現につながった。特に、地域に伝わる祭囃子を教材化する場合には、授業者は、文献等から知識を得るだけでなく、地元の方から口唱歌や踊り、神輿の担ぎなどを教わるか、あるいは、地元の方をゲストティーチャーとして授業構成に組み入れるなどして、その地域の文化的背景、生活経験なども視野に入れて授業を展開できるようにすることが重要であることがわかった。
