【研究目的】本研究の目的は, 教科書内容を効率よく学習させながら生徒の聴解力を確実に養成し, 授業内で高度な言語活動(発表, 討論等)を行えるようにするためのCALL教材の開発である。今回は中級程度の英語力を持つ高校生を対象とした。【開発手順概略】開発はコースウェアおよび素材の作成, ソフトウェア化, 実験的指導の順に行われた。コースウェアは千葉大学で開発され学習効果が繰り返し検証された指導理論「三ラウンド・システム」に基づく。最初に, 関連する3種類のタスク(作業課題)を作成した。徐々に具体化する3種類のヒントも併せて提示し, 無理なく取り組めるように配慮した。各レッスン(Unit)の終了後には, 理解度, 定着度を確認するテストも設けた。並行して辞書情報も作成し, 語彙のつづりや意味を教材画面で音声とともに確認できるようにした。音声は英語母語話者に発話させたものを録音, 編集して使用した。また内容理解を補助するため, 約300枚の写真およびイラストを使用した。コースウェアおよび写真, 音声等は, 千葉大学で開発されたオーサリングシステムを使用して組み合わされ, Windows PC, タブレットで使用できるソフトウェアとなった。完成した教材は元の教科書名(Vivid English Communication II, 第一学習社)にちなんでPreparation for Vivid II (VT)と命名された。【実験的指導状況】本報告書作成時点では実験的指導は継続実施中だが, すでに多くの生徒が, CALL教材で学習することによってリスニング回数が増え, 学習内容が深度化したなどの好意的な声を寄せている。タブレット貸与により, 授業外の自主学習も行われるようになった。引き続き指導を行い, CALL教材を使用することで学習が効率化し, また様々なコミュニケーション活動が実施可能になることを確認していきたい。

[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to develop CALL textbooks for students with high speech activity (presentation, discussion, etc.) in classroom teaching. The English language proficiency of the intermediate level is now at the same level as that of college students. [Development process outline] Development process is to make materials, software, and implement guidance. Chiba University has developed the basic theory of "three classes" to guide learning. Initially, three types of related topics were created. The three types of information are detailed and prompt, and there is no reason to choose a group. After the completion of each Unit, the understanding degree and the fixed degree are confirmed. In parallel, dictionary information is created, and words are used to confirm the sound of teaching materials. Voice recordings of native English speakers are compiled and used. About 300 photos were used to understand the content. Chiba University has developed a software platform for Windows PC, Windows Complete the textbook name (Vivid English Communication II, First Learning Society) and prepare for Vivid II (VT). [Guidance] At the time when this report was prepared, there were many students, CALL textbooks, learning materials, and in-depth learning.
