项目摘要

研究目的 : これまでの鋳造現場は粉塵が舞うなど環境が悪く、また、鋳型作りにおいては大きな力を必要とするため、女性が働いている姿は珍しかった。しかし、一度鋳もの作りを体験すると、その面白さから鋳造に興味を持つ女性が多くいると聞く。仮に、鋳造職場環境の改善が進み、力を補う補助装置が導入されれば、女性の進出が増え、女性が持つ細やかさを鋳もの作りに生かすことが出来、鋳もの作りの世界が大きく変わるのではないかと考え、鋳もの作り応援装置を開発することにした。研究方法 : 砂型(鋳型)作りにおいて特に力が必要な工程を洗い出し、装置を使って重量物を動かすための実験を行い、そこで生じた問題点を解決しながら応援装置を完成させる。研究成果 : 鋳型作りにおいて特に大きな力を必要とする砂型の反転と上型の持ち上げを補助する装置として、次に示す「応援装置」を開発した。テーブル裏面にエアシリンダを取り付け、そのシリンダロッドの先端に作業用天板を取り付ける。天板上に置いた木製定盤の上に木枠と模型を逆さまに置き、周囲を砂で固める。次に、上型を作るために反転させる必要があるため、下型の上に新たな定盤を逆さまに置き、エアシリンダに通気し下型を上昇させる。本体両側に取り付けたエアシリンダで上下の定盤ごと下型を挟み天板を下げると、定盤ごと下型を回転させることができるため、上型の製作に進むことが出来る。装置には手動で枠をボルト締めする機構を取り付けており、上型を作った後にエアシリンダに通気し上型のみ、そのボルトで挟む。下型に軽く振動を与えてからエアシリンダの通気を徐々に解除すると、下型のみが静かに降下する。これにより、上型を持ち上げた時と同じ状態となり、木型を抜くことができる。また、装置には集塵機用の吸込み口を設けて埃対策を施した結果、砂埃が舞い散らない造型環境が整った。応援装置の完成により、女性に限らず力の弱い男性も砂型の反転及び上型の持ち上げが容易にできるようになり、誰もが砂型を楽に作ることができる環境が整った。
