项目摘要

人工内耳装用生徒は、高周波数成分を含む音(摩擦音など)の発音を得意とする一方、発話全体としては不自然な印象を持たれる場合がある。発話の韻律面、リズムやイントネーションの改善が、より自然な発話へつながるのではないかと考える。韻律面の評価や指導方法の検討・開発は、聴覚障害児の発音・発語における今後の課題でもある。本研究は、人工内耳装用生徒についてイントネーションに着目した評価と指導を行い、人工内耳装用生徒の発話に関する基礎的資料と発音発語学習における今後の指針を得ることを目的とした。人工内耳装用生徒の発話を聴者に聞いてもらい、5件法による聴覚的な評価を行った。また音声分析ソフトにより発話を音響的に評価した。続いて発音指導を実施した。聴覚を使った学習、動作を用いた学習、音声分析ソフトの分析画面による視覚的な手がかりを用いた学習を行った。指導後に、指導前と同様の評価を実施した。指導前の評価において、発話全体としての聞きやすさやわかりやすさは比較的良い評価であっても、イントネーションについて高い評価を得た発話はなかった。比較的聞きやすい発話であると、イントネーションも良いような印象を受けることがあるが、イントネーションという点だけをみると高くは評価されないことがわかった。発音学習については、楽しんで行う生徒がほとんどであった。特に、聞いて真似する、聴覚を使った学習に意欲的に取り組んだ。確認や説明には自然と手の動きをつける生徒がいた。音声分析ソフトを用いると、声の高さについての関心が増した印象であった。音の高低の概念に関する学習が今後必要であると思われた。指導後の評価では、イントネーションについての評価が上がらなくても、発話全体の印象が良くなる場合があった。リズムやポーズ等も含めた韻律面を重視した学習を通して、発話全体の自然性や伝わりやすさが向上する可能性が示唆された。
