本研究の目的は、図画工作科(以下図工とする)での無意識的な学びを少しでも意識しやすくするための授業の振り返りの時間をデザインすること、また、そこで使用するワークシートを開発・使用し、子ども達の学びの深まりの一助となるかを検証するものであった。申請者は、文献や研究会等で、他校の図工の時間のふりかえりの時間やワークシートについて見識を深めた。そこで、授業での活動は子ども主体になっているのに対し、振り返りの時間は、教師主体になりがちであることが分かった。めあてに沿った振り返りという点では教師主導で学びを深めていくことが必要であるが、やらされている振り返りからは子どもの中に実際起こった学びを表す場としては不十分である。ここから、思わず見返したくなる振り返りにするために、授業の各班の様子をタイムラプス動画で記録し、授業後、自分たちがどのように動いていたのかを見ながら振り返ることができる時間をとった。客観的に自分たちを見ることができることは、自らの学びを意識するために適した手立てであった。また、他の班のタイムラプス動画を次の時間の導入に見ることで、もっとこうしたいという意欲につながった。さらに、ワークシートでは、p4cの振り返り方を参考に楽しかった・よく考えたなどの項目を設定し、それらを星の数で表したり、次の時間の自分に対するメモを残すなど、毎回同じ形式のものを使う事で、時間も短く、有効な振り返りにつながることが分かった。しかし、①題材のどのタイミングでの振り返りが子どもたちの意識を分断させにくいのか、②振り返らされていると感じない振り返りの可能性はあるのか、③図工の時間の学びが図工以外の時間にも生きていると、どうすれば実感できるのかなど、学びの実感という点で課題が残った。今後、学びを実感し、図工の時間のみならず生活場面で生かされるのかについて、引き続き検証していく。
