The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar establishes a publication fund for 2019-2020 to support its members in publishing scientific Open Access articles. Due to the initial funding by the DFG, a reliable and uniform structure to fund publication costs has been created. Fees for the publication of articles in genuine, quality controlled Open Access journals may be absorbed from the fund. The launch of the publication fund for Open Access publishing will be accompanied by various sources of information and advisory services for different subject areas and target groups of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Accompanying measures in the organizational, technical and legal fields ensure that scientists benefit from a service for the provision of their research results in Open Access.
