1、研究目標…小学校の国語科の授業で、児童の語彙力の低下及び「書く」活動を苦手とする児童が増えている。そこで、意味から語彙を検索できる辞書があれば、国語科の指導に効果的であると考えた。また同時に、語彙力の低下にも大きな成果が上がると考えた。本研究では以上のことから、小学校の教育現場で実用可能な、児童でも簡単に使用・活用できる"児童用シソーラス"の開発と作成をしていく。2、研究方法…(1)シソーラスについての資料の収集と分析→(2)小学校教育現場の調査…全国の小学校現場におけるシソーラスと国語科授業・語彙指導との関連を現地調査し、授業形態及び児童作品を記録し、資料の一部とする。→(3)つるせ台小学校での「ことば貯金ノート」の取り組み…19年度4月より、全児童(580人)を対象に「ことば貯金ノート」に取り組む。期間は1年間とし、3月に完成したものの中から、数編を選び資料の一部とする。なおスキャナーで読み取ったデータも保存しておく。→(4)"児童用シソーラス"の開発・作成…小学校の国語科の学習及び授業で、実際に児童自身が活用できる「シソーラス辞書」を作成する。3、研究結果…本研究を進める中で、語彙力の低下と個人間で語彙力の差を実感した。同時に語彙力が比較的高い児童が「読書好きである」という結果も得られた。また、全国の小学校教育現場での取り組みの中で、語彙力をつける授業として「辞書引き」が有効であると感じた。さて"児童用シソーラス"の開発は、現在単語500語前後のプリント集を完成させ、次年度(20年度)に実際に授業で活用する段階である。実際に活用しながら、普段児童が使わない単語を意図的に増やし、授業での使い易さの検証をし、更に改良を加える予定である。今後形容詞・形容動詞中心の「詩」用と名詞・動詞中心の「作文」用の二つのシソーラス辞書を作成する予定である。
