【目的】模擬患者(SP)活動は教育機関や、医療・福祉機関にも認知されつつあるが、SPに対する誤解や理解不足などから、SPが不安をかかえたまま活動を行っている現状がある。SP側は実施側の狙いに沿った演技を提供できたのか、また、対象者の「気づき」や「能力アップ」に役立てたのかと自問自答を繰り返すなど、SPの精神的・身体的な疲労は増している。そこでこの研究では、SPの参加する医療コミュニケーションの試験や教育セッションで、実施(主催者)側、対象者(学生、医療・福祉スタッフ)、SPの満足度(達成感や疲労感)などを調べ、市民の立場で参加するSP活動に役立てることである。【方法】岡山SP研究会を中心に、SPの参加する医療コミュニケーションの試験や教育セッション終了後に、実施者、対象者、SPに対して、満足度調査(アンケート)を行う。満足度調査はビジュアルアナログスケールを用いる。【成果】実施者(主催者)36名(回答率88%)、対象者219名(回答率83%)、SP22名(回答率96%)から回答が得られた。実施者、SPの目的達成度(目的に沿っていた(沿えた)0-目的に沿っていなかった(沿えなかった)12)では、実施者平均0.69、SP平均3.25と、少し差がでる結果となった。また、実施者・対象者のSP認知度(よく知っている0-全く知らなかった12)では、主催者平均2.67に対し、対象者平均6.69とSP認知度が低い結果となった。対象者からの自由記載欄では、「今まで気づかなかった自分を知ることができた」、「患者に対する意識が変わった」など、SPが参加することで、気づきを得た内容の意見が多かった。今後の課題として、SPが実施者側の狙いに沿った役割を果たせているといえるのに対し、SP側が自身の働きに対して満足しきれていない点の改善や、SP活動を広く認知してもらう環境作りが重要であると考えられる。
