英文摘要
The SUB Göttingen applies for a Specialised Information Service "Central Asia - Autochthonous Cultures and Languages". The SUB Göttingen will provide literature on the indigenous peoples of Central Asia and Siberia nationwide. It builds on Germany's largest collection of Central Asian-Siberian literature at the SUB Göttingen in more than 70 languages. Linguistic competence and expertise in the procurement of often very rare and hard-to-find literature is available through the experience of building this collection especially in the SUB Göttingen. Since the important region of Central Asia and Siberia is only marginally and insufficiently served by already established Specialised Information Services, the SUB Göttingen considers a "Specialised Information Service Central Asia - Autochthonous Cultures and Languages" to be highly important for Central Asian Studies nationwide. In addition to offers for specific philologies, the SUB Göttingen will also be creating missing offers for interdisciplinary, (historical) cultural studies and regional scientific area studies. The FID "Central Asia - Autochthonous Cultures and Languages" is therefore aimed at researchers working in the field of humanities and social sciences, especially literary science, linguistics, history, archeology, sociology, political science, ethnology and cultural anthropology and focus their research on Central Asia and Siberia.A key role of the FID "Central Asia - Indigenous Cultures and Languages" is, in addition to the procurement and provision of printed and digital literature from Central Asia, the establishment of a "Web Archive Central Asia" in collaboration with the Center for Research Libraries, Chicago, using the Service Archive.It. Making Internet publications, that usually are only available on the Internet for a short time, available permanently is important for the disciplines that deal with Central Asia, and is of particular relevance to linguistic and sociological issues.
