The aim of the application is to make it easier for scientific institutions to access the contents of the Biochemical Society journals via an alliance license. The articles in these five journals deal with science at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine and are therefore an important source for interdisciplinary research, e. g. in drug development. Scientific libraries can benefit from an Alliance License in the form of price reductions, better terms of use, e. g. in the area of Open Access, and last but not least also from free access of the content due to a moving wall.
