筆者は教育現場における若手教員への研修の現状の改善を目指して、若手教員自身が自らの授業実践を検証し改善点を把握することのできる「授業検証力」の育成に取り組んだ。若手教員にとって自分の授業を客観的に見る機会が少ないため、デジタルビデオカメラによって自らの授業を撮影しそれを基に若手教員同士が相互に分析、検討することが授業改善への意欲を喚起する第一歩となっていた。その上で、自らの授業を撮影する前に、どんな授業をやってみたいのか、「チェックシート」によって自分自身の授業の課題を明確にするよう計画したため、授業後の研究会の中で、若手教員同士で意見を述べ合う際に、焦点化された議論となっていた。筆者は授業を実践するプロセスを3つの段階に分け、それぞれを「授業構想段階」「授業展開段階」「授業再構築段階」ととらえ研究を進めていたが、多くの若手教員は「授業展開段階」で必要な「授業展開力」の向上が急務であると考えていた。「チェックシート」で若手教員から提示される課題の多くは、授業中に発する自らの発問や、授業中の表情や視線の動かし方などいわゆる指導技術である。しかし、若手教員同士の定例会を積み重ねていく中で、教員自身が入念に教材研究を行ったときの授業実践は教員自身が「楽しそうに」授業をしている等の「授業構想力」の重要性を感じ始めている議論も多く行われるようになってきた。今後は、ICレコーダーでの机間指導時の発問・デジタルカメラでの児童生徒と接する際の表情など「授業展開力」の向上を目指すとともに、教材研究を中心とした「授業構想力」の育成プログラムの研究も検討していきたい。
