1.研究目的契丹国(遼朝)は、北アジアおよび華北の一部を領域として10～13世紀に成立した国家である。近年では契丹国の故地に該当する内蒙古自治区や遼寧省・河北省北部、北京市等において、契丹国時代の膨大な漢字石刻資料の出土・発見が相次き、数少ない伝世の文献史料を補完する存在として注目されてはいるが、まだ体系的な検討がなされる状況には至っていない。本研究は、申請者が過去に中国内蒙古自治区内で実施した調査の経験や知見等を活かしつつ、さらなる調査を実施することで、出土した墓誌資料の集成研究を目的とした。とりわけ墓誌資料は、最近の契丹国の歴史研究上では重要な役割を占め、正史の『遼史』に名が見える契丹人の墓誌が多数発見されており、その内容には従来史料にない記述が含まれている。よって、これら墓誌資料の内容を正確に把握し、その客観的物証である拓本や写真を収集し報告書にまとめることをめざした。2.研究方法本研究では、まず最新研究成果や報告資料等の収集と確認を行い、掲載されている拓本・写真等の整理・分析を実施した。次いで実施した現地調査では、各種の漢語資料の実見を行うとともに、新出資料の情報収集を行った。また、現地機関の許可を得て写真撮影等も行い、合成写真等のデータも作成した。また入手した拓本資料をスキャニングして精密な画像を作製した。3.研究成果2009年度奨励研究採択に伴う調査研究の段階で、近年の新出資料数の増加は著しく、限られた時間と予算の範囲内では全体把握は困難であることが判明していたので、今回の調査研究では前回採択の後続研究として、契丹人墓誌(主として蕭姓)の調査を行った。その結果、今回も新出資料を入手することができた。これらの成果と基本情報のデータは、前回採択科研報告書の後続刊として『契丹国(遼朝)墓誌資料集成II契丹人編2』にまとめ、少部数ながら刊行した。これらは契丹国(遼朝)史関係の研究者や関係機関等に配布等をして公開の予定である。本報告書は、写真や拓本などの客観的データを併せて収録し、一次資料の集成本として大きな利用価値があると考えている
