本研究は, バレーボールの学習指導において局面学習を中核とした指導法を究明することで, 状況に応じた適切な動きを自ら創り出すことを目的とする。ボールゲームは「ボール操作」と「ボールを操作しない動き」で成り立っている。ゲーム中の状況に応じた動きを高めていくには, ボールを操作しない時に「いつ」「どこへ」動けばよいのかを適切に判断することが大切である。しかしながら, ボール操作やボールを操作しない時の動きが身に付いていない以上に, ゲームの中でそれらは「何のために」行うものなのかが分かっていない生徒も多くいるのではないだろうか。さらに, バレーボールは生徒自身がボールを保持する時間を全くもてず, ボールに接触することだけでゲーム遂行されるという点で, より一層難しさが増しているのである。本研究は, このもっともな事実に着目し, 勝敗を決める「攻防の局面」を視点にバレーボールを捉え直し, その具体的で客観的な楽しさとそこで対象となる技能を, 不可分の「内容」として主体的に学習させることを目指しており, その指導法を究明することで状況に応じた適切な運動能力を効果的に高められるのではないかと考えて実践するものである。研究の成果1 3つの局面における技術構造の明確化・「ボールを落とさないようにする」「ボールを整えて組み立てようとする」「ボールを敵陣に落とそうとする」という3つの局面における技術構造を明らかにし, 学習過程を捉え直すことができた。2 生徒自らが戦術的な課題を意識できる指導の在り方を明らかにできたこと・ICT機器を活用し, 運動場面(局面)を提示することで戦術的課題を強く意識させることができた。3 状況に応じた動きをより効果的に身に付けるための指導法を明らかにできたこと・タブレット型端末を活用し, 視覚的な即時的フィードバックを取り入れた戦術トレーニングにより, 状況に応じた適切な運動能力を効果的に高めることができた。・ボール操作しない時の動きを習得させるドリルゲームやタスクゲームを効果的に位置付けられた。・生徒の動きの分析をもとに, いつどこでどのような指導援助すべきなのかを明確にすることができた。
