26〜30週齢の自然発症性高コレステロール血症(SHC)ラットをDonorとした上皮小体移植実験を行った。Recipientは以下の4群で検討した。Group A;同種ラット(Jcl-SD)に無処置で移植した群、Group B;Jcl-SDラットに免疫抑制剤(FK506)を投与して移植した群、Group C;SHCラットの固有上皮小体を摘除し、FK506を投与した群、Group D;Jcl-SDラットの固有上皮小体を摘除し、FK506を投与した群。結果1)移植上皮小体は、Group Aでは移植後早期に、Group Bでは除々に拒絶に至った。Group Cでは移植15週後でも高率に生着していたが、Group Dでは移植11週以降、除々に拒絶された。2)rat-PTHは、Group Cでは移植後、全期間を通じ、PTHは高値を維持、Group Dでは移植後早期には高値を示したが、移植後15週では正常以下となった。3)腎の組織学的検討では、Group B,C,Dにおいて皮質髄質境界付近の尿細管内にplaqueが認められた。これらのplaqueは、Group Cでは移植後、除々に増加、Group Dでは移植後11週をピークに減少していた。4)von Kossa染色、Pizzolato染色の結果から、plaque内の物質には燐酸塩、蓚酸塩の存在が推定され、上皮小体機能亢進症に伴う尿路結石の初期病変である可能性が示唆された。SHCラットの上皮小体細胞培養は、初期培養には成功したものの、長期継代に至っておらず、現在、引き続き検討中である。これらの結果は、第61回日本泌尿器科学会東部総会、第6回日本尿路結石症研究会、第333回日本泌尿器科学会北海道地方会で発表した。
