今年度は、資料整理に重点を置き、計画を進めた。『五代史平話』については、その五作品それぞれにおける口語成分を抽出し、まず『五代梁史平話』及び『五代唐史平話』の分類結果を公表した。他の作品についても、順次公表する予定である。この作業の過程で、従来の研究に使用されていた復刻本やそれを基にした排印本(目賭し得た限りでは、すべての排印本が復刻本に基づいている)は、信頼できないテキストであることが判明し、当然のことながら、『五代史平話』に関する研究は影印に拠らなければならないことを再認識した。『宣和遺事』については、版本間のテキストクリティークを行ない、その差異をまとめて、従来言及されていない版本間の関係(金陵王氏洛川校正重刊本、述古堂原校本、呉郡修硬山房本、学山海居主人跋本)の論考を公表したいと考えている。主要テーマである口語成分の分類の結果も公表する予定である。更に、成立年代推定については、宋・元代作品の口語抽出作業を続行中であり、結論は出ていない。ただ、現在のところ、人の複数を表す接尾辞“毎"の大量の使用等から、元代以降の刊行と推測している。研究補助は今年度で終わってしまうが、両者の成立年代のより確かな推定を行なうために、今後も、唐・宋・元・明代前半の周辺資料(主に禅籍)を調査・整理していく計画である。
