(I) 柏原の構成した2-microfunctionsの層は、マイクロ関数の層cより大きい2-hyperfunctionsの層を分解している。戸瀬により、2-microfunctions解に対する双曲性は研究がすでになされていた。そこで、問題となるのが、マイクロ関数を分解した小さな2-microfunctionsのクラスに対する片岡-戸瀬の層に対する双曲性を可解性も込めて考えることである。この問題が、非常に難しいことを示す微分作用素の例を求めた。この例は、非常に単純であるが、2-microfunction解の意味では双曲型であるが、片岡-戸瀬の層においては、可解でないことが示された。(II) O.Liessの仕事によると、佐藤超関数、マイクロ関数を複素領域における逆フーリエ変換として特徴付けることができる。そこで問題になるのが、第2超局所解析の場合はどうなるかという問題である。マイクロ関数を分解した層の場合は、O.Liessのレシペに従ってできる。ところが2-hyperfunctions,2-microfunctionsの場合はシンボルの漸近列として記述出来ることを証明した。(III) TrevesのReal and Complex構造のランク1の場合に生じる、複体で係数がdistributionsである場合のコホモロジー消滅の必要十分条件を幾何的な言葉で与えることに成功した。
