The aim of this work is to combine the novel developed selective Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL) technique with the experimental neuro 4D-flow phase contrast angiography technique. Both experimental MRI techniques have to be validated and optimized in order to be used in neuro applications. By this, it should be made possible to visualized individual arteries in the brain which not only show morphological changes but also quantitative measures can be performed. Thereby vascular diseases are expected to be visualized in more detail and following this, diagnostic confidence should increase. This is for example important in the early detection of rupture risk in aneurysms.
