项目摘要

本研究の課題は、(1)ESM調査によって個人の日常生活における具体的経験のデータを収集し、その経験に即して現象学的にレジャーの概念を定義することであり、(2)この操作的定義により、レジャーの量的、質的充実度を数量的に把握して、“レジャー生活の充実と生活全般の質的充実の関連性"について検討することであった。前年度に引き続き、同一内容のESM調査を実施したが、本年度は特に主婦層におけるデータの蓄積に力点を置き、生活構造の異なる専業主婦、有職主婦、大学生間でレジャーの捉え方に差はあるのか等、新たな分析視点を加え検討を行った。主婦66名、学生30名、6000件余の経験データの分析から、以下が明らかになった。1. レジャー概念を特徴づける主観的・経娠的要素は何か、相関、重回帰分析など統計的手法によって検討した。“レジャーである"との状況判断(レジャー性の知覚)と最も強い繋りがあるのは、サンプル全体では、「楽しさ」や「興味」の観点であり、続いて「決定の自由」の影響力が強く、「肯定的感情」「リラックス感」がこれに続く。フロー理論等で重視される集中(没入)や能力と挑戦の均衡、達成・有能感等の体験はレジャーとの意味関連を殆ど持っていなかった。また、専業主婦、有職主婦、学生のグループ毎で分析を進めたところ、結果はほぼ同様であり、異なる集団においてもレジャーの捉え方をめぐる基本図式は等しく共有されていることが示された。2. レジャーの量的・質的充実が生活全般の充実に与える影響については、ESMデータより算定されたレジャー享受レベルと、同データによる全般的生活充足感には強い関連性が認められたが、質問紙調査(Leisure Bore-dom Scale,Purpose in Life Testなど)によるQOLレベルとの関連性については、意味ある知見は得られなかった。今後、ESM調査と質問紙調査の間の測定内容・次元のずれを少しでも解消していくことが課題である。

The enjoyment of life is similar to the quality of life. The overall sense of adequacy of life is strong. The correlation is strong. The questionnaire survey (Leisure Bore-dom Scale,Purpose in Life Test) indicates that the QOL is related to the relevance of life. In the future, ESM investigation and inquiry paper investigation shall be conducted on the basis of the content of measurement, dimension and content.
