論述文の論理構造を支える文型の研究とその日本語教育への応用

前年度に文型の類型化と確定のために導入した記述的方法としての判別分析法(多変量解析の一手法)について、試行段階で問題となった点を改善し、方法論として確立した。この方法論に基づいて、改めて資料分析を行い、前年度に立てた、論述文には他のジャンルの文章とは異なる文型群が存在するという仮説を実証した。具体的には、論述文における文型の出現傾向とそれ以外のジャンルの文章における文型の出現傾向を調べるために、三つのジャンルから資料を選び、上記の方法論を用いて分析を行った。論述文の資料としては、日本語学習者の多い経済学分野から経済学者の文章(16編1124文)を、比較対照の資料としては、文学作品(14編2528文)と日本経済新聞社説(51編1201文)を選んだ。自然言語処理の手法を用いて、選定した98の文型項目を資料の文章からすべて抽出し、出現頻度を求めた。そして、一文当たりの頻度に換算し直した値を求めて出現率とした。次に、98文型項目を事柄の論理関係を示す文型項目を中心に、機能の観点から30の文型群に分類した。この30の各文型群ごとに判別分析法を用いて統計分析を行った結果、ジャンルの判別に有効な7つの文型群が抽出された。さらに、その文型群を指標としてステップワイズ法を用いた判別分析を行い、7つの文型項目によって文章のジャンルが高的中率で判別できることを実証的に確かめた。この研究成果によって、あるジャンルに属す文章に共通する文型群の存在が明らかとなり、日本語教育における文型教育の方法論に対して一つの重要な指針を示すことができた。具体的には、網羅的に文型を教育するのではなく、対象とする文章の属すジャンルごとに、その特徴的な文型群を、文章構造に沿った形で教育する方法を提案し、その方法による実践の場における教材開発例を作成し、その指導法を提示した
