健常者および歯周病患者(早期発症型歯周炎患者;EOPおよび成人性歯周病患者;APは初診時)から全唾液を採取し,その中のMMP-1,MMP-8,MMP-9,好中球エラスターゼおよびTIMP-1の測定を行った。MMP-1に関しては,他の研究グループから報告があるような結果(全てのサンプルから検出される)にはならず,全てのサンプル中から検出(測定限界:1.0ng/ml)されなかった。MMP-8,MMP-9,好中球エラスターゼおよびTIMP-1は全ての測定サンプル中から測定することができた。初診時という一点だけであるが,歯周病患者のEOPとAP間ではMMP-8,MMP-9,好中球エラスターゼおよびTIMP-1量に有意な差は認められなかった.無歯顎者の全唾液中においては,MMP-8,MMP-9,好中球エラスターゼを測定した.MMP-8(1.9ng/ml),MMP-9(3.1ng/ml)は検出限界以下であったが,好中球エラスターゼは若干の測定結果を得た.また,腺唾液は顎舌下腺唾液中のMMP-8,MMP-9,好中球エラスターゼを測定した.これも,無歯顎者と同様な結果が得られ,MMP-8,MMP-9は検出限界以下であった.これらの研究より,全唾液中のMMPs量はその由来が歯肉溝滲出液であることが再度確認することだで来た.さらに,初期治療後のMMPs量の変化で歯周病の活性度を示す可能性があるかもしれない.

In healthy patients with periodontitis (patients with early onset periodontitis; patients with EOP and adult periodontitis;AP at initial diagnosis), total saliva samples were taken and MMP-1,MMP-8,MMP-9, MMP-1 and TIMP-1 were measured. MMP-1 is related to the detection of MMP-1, and the results of his study are reported in the report (all samples are detected). MMP-8,MMP-9, MMP-1 and MMP-1 are all detected. MMP-8,MMP-9,MMP-9, MMP-1,MMP-9,MMP-9, MMP- MMP-8,MMP-9,MMP-9 were detected in the saliva of the patients without teeth.MMP-8(1.9ng/ml),MMP-9(3.1ng/ml) were detected below the threshold, MMP-8 and MMP-9 were detected below the threshold. MMP-8,MMP-9,MMP-9, MMP- MMP-8 and MMP-9 are the same as those without teeth. The amount of MMPs in whole saliva was reconfirmed. In addition, changes in the amount of MMPs after initial treatment indicate the likelihood of periapical disease activity.
