(1)『職原抄』とならんで、官職制度の代表的な解説書である、二条良基作『百寮訓要抄』の研究を前年度に続行した。諸本の書承関係を整理した後、これまで存在の知られていなかった国立歴史民俗博物館蔵本・東京大学史料編纂所蔵本を調査した。後者に蔵される二本は、徳大寺家旧蔵本で、作者良基の手稿本に発する善本であることが判明したのである。昨年度調査した尊経閣文庫蔵明応10年写本と併せ参照することで、より純正な形で『百寮訓要抄』の本文を提供する準備が漸く整ったことになる。現在、諸本研究の過程と結果、および校本の原稿を作成し終わった段階で、これは来年度中に公刊する予定である。(2)肥前松平文庫蔵『(別本)百寮和歌』『官職歌』の研究を行った。主として、自らのステイタスシンボルとして朝廷の官職を帯びることとなった武家階級を対象に、複雑な官職の制度を理解させ、暗記させるため、短歌の形式を借りて、『百寮訓要抄』および『職原抄』の内容を平易な100首前後の和歌にまとめたものであり、室町時代における官職制度解説書といえる。従来は教訓歌の一種として考えられ、全く紹介されていなかったものである。その書誌解題と翻刻を執筆し、『古典資料研究』第2号(平成12年12月)に掲載した(3)「四辻善成の生涯」を『国語国文』第791号(平成12年7月)に発表した。そこでは、四辻善成の、北朝公家としての生涯を、『職原抄』 『官職難儀』など中世の官職制度解説書の記述を多く援用しつつ、述べている。その結果、皇族に生まれて臣籍降下するという経歴を辿った善成が、当時の宮廷でいかなる位置にあったかが、より具体的となった上、奥書の署名(当然彼の帯びていた官職名で表記される)などを正しく解読することで、静嘉堂文庫蔵本『時代不同歌合』の書写・校合など、新たな事蹟を発掘することが出来た。
