昨年度の課題であったゲルトルート・コルマルのテキストの分析による『身体=テキスト構造』に関しては、その成果を論文「詩と舞踊の交点-ゲルトルート・コルマルの詩「薔薇の踊り」を手がかりに-」にまとめ、発表した。この論文では、「薔薇の踊り」において踊り子の衣装が、テクストの表象であり、踊る身体と布の緊張関係が、世界と言語の緊張関係として理解し得ることを示した。また、マラルメのロイ・フラー論との比較を行った。本年度の課題である舞踊家シャルロッテ・バラおよびアスコーナの芸術家コロニー「モンテ・ヴェリタ」に関しては、まず1学期をRudolf Lammel:"Der moderne Tanz"(1928)、Harald Szeemann:"Monte Verita:Berg der Wahrheit"などの文献資料の読解に充てた。その結果、第二次大戦終結までのモンテ・ヴェリタは、ヨーロッパの知的な結節点の一つであり、アナーキズム、神秘主義、モダニズム、生活改革運動などの運動が出会う場であったことが明らかになった。本年度の夏には、チューリヒとアスコーナで現地調査を行い、モダンダンス関係の多数の文献資料を入手したほか、アスコーナの風土を記録するスライド資料なども作成することができた。とりわけ興味深く思われるのは、「モンテ・ヴェリタ」という土地全体が、一つのユートピアとして成り立っていたという事実であり、それはとりわけ敷地の構成や、様々な建築物に現れていると考えられる。以上の調査結果の経過報告として、12月に東大文学部で開かれた基盤研究(A)「文学表現と<身体>-ドイツ文学の場合」の研究会で、「真理の山(モンテ・ヴェリタ)」と題して口頭発表を行った。
