项目摘要

プロスポーツ観戦者のセグメントマーケティング戦略の策定に有効な情報を開発するために、日本プロサッカーリーグの公式戦(平成11年、平成12年)及び第3回FIFA女子ワールドカップ大会(平成11年)の観戦者を対象とした社会調査を実施した。観戦者のセグメントファクターとして、ジェンダー、観戦動機、観戦歴、観戦頻度、組織化の有無、競技会場の立地、競技会場の収容規模などの有効性が示唆された。各々のファクターについて、マーケティングレコメンデーションを含め、論文化を進めた。一方、それらレコメンデーションのフィジビリティースタディーとして、2つのプロサッカークラブのマーケティング担当者と共同で、いくつかの試験的な事業を行った(平成12年)。日本プロサッカーリーグの観戦者調査からは、Vicarious Achievement、Drama、Community Attachement、Player Interest、Team Interestの観戦行動に関係の深い6つの社会心理的特性が抽出された。それら社会心理的特性と観戦行動の関係についての分析は、北米スポーツマネジメント学会で報告した(平成11年)。国内では、日本体育学会及び日本スポーツ産業学会において、社会心理的特性と観戦者特性との関係について報告した(平成11年)。第3回FIFA女子ワールドカップ大会のデータからは、女性アスリートの観戦者の社会心理特性について、北米スポーツマネジメント学会で報告した(平成12年)。
