项目摘要

本研究は、企業の国際部品調達をめぐる諸問題を環境配慮型資材調達戦略と関連させて経営組織論の視角から理論的・実証的に考察することを主たる目的としたものであった。二年間にわたる研究を終え、次に示す知見を新たに得ることができた。第一に、企業活動のグローバル化が一段と進展しており、多くの組立企業と部品企業が国内外で多様かつ柔軟な取引関係の構築をめざしていることが確認された。第二に、資材の調達において、近年急速に電子購買システムの構築と導入をはかることで購買プロセスの簡素化、情報の一元化、および、それらにともなうコストダウンの実現をめざす組立企業が増加してきていることが確認された。第三に、各種の環境規制に対応するために、多くの企業がISO14000シリーズの認証取得、ライフ・サイクル・アセスメントにもとづく新製品開発、省エネルギー型生産設備の導入、リサイクルシステムの構築、そしてグリーン調達の実施を本格的に推進していることが確認された。第四に、組立企業による部品企業への要請によって、環境配慮型経営が個別企業から企業間関係のレベルに着実に進展しつつあることが確認された。しかし、環境配慮型経営のさらなる推進のためには、行為主体の境界を越え、全体論的な視点に立脚した社会・経済システムの再構築が求められる。また、グリーン調達が資源・エネルギー効率にもとづいて実施されるためには、市場取引におけるインセンティブの抜本的な見直しも政策的に必要となろう。今後、本研究で得られた知見を活用し、こうした問題意識を考慮した研究へと展開していきたい。
