项目摘要

本研究は,子どもの社会認識の発達に即した授業実践のための根拠となる認識の発達的変容に関する実証的データの収集を目的として行った。本年度は,児童期における社会認識の発達の様相(発達水準とその特質),社会認識構造(社会のわかり方)の変容過程について,縦断的調査(小学校3年生から6年生)の結果分析及び横断的調査との比較を通して検討した。まず社会認識の発達の様相としては,加齢とともに認識の視点の拡大と視点の質的な深化(具体から抽象へ)が見出され,その転換期として小学校4・5年生頃が指摘された。次に,社会認識構造の発達的変容について,個の回答内容の変化に焦点をあてながら検討した。結果を要約すれば次のとおりである。子どもの社会認識構造は,並列型(independent cognition),関連型(referential cognition),組み込み型(incorporated cognition),変革・創造型(reformative cognition),総合型(comprehensive cognition)の5つに類型化される。2. 子どもは,社会的事物・事象に関する知識(経験)を量的に増加させる段階から知識相互のネットワーク化を図る段階へ,そしてあるまとまりとして知識を統合する段階へと発達し,これらの段階を螺旋的に繰り返しながら知識を成長させる。3. 小学生における知識成長の過程は具体的な経験をまとめる段階として特徴づけられ,経験の量的拡大と具体から抽象への認識の質的深化がこの時期の学び方として重視される。

This study aims at the development of social awareness, namely, the teaching practice, the root cause and the content of awareness development. This year, we conducted a thorough investigation into the development of social cognition in childhood (development level and characteristics), the transformation process of social cognition structure (social structure), the analysis of the results of intermittent surveys (primary school 3-year-olds to 6-year-olds), and the comparison of cross-sectional surveys. The development of social cognition and the deepening of its quality (concrete and abstract) have been found, and the transition period has been criticized since the 4th and 5th year of primary school.
