本年度は最終年度であるので、次の研究の踏み台とするために、研究成果を公刊することとした。各自の研究トピックについてそれぞれ必要なフォローアップ調査を行い、12月20日に東南アジア史学会中部例会と合同でワークショップを行った。そして『多民族社会形成の歴史と現状-フィリピン諸島出身の人々を中心に-』と題するフィリピン人ディアスポラに関する報告書を刊行した。大橋(研究代表者)は、フィリピン人ディアスポラの巨視的歴史的位置づけを試みるべく、人間集団の移動という視点からハワイと日本を含む東南アジア史のスケッチを試みた。赤嶺(研究分担者)は、東南アジア・太平洋諸島におけるナマコ採集・集荷ネットワークの歴史的経緯が、近年のこの地方へのフィリピン人出稼ぎの背景にあることを指摘した。高畑(研究協力者)は、名古屋在住のフィリピン人と日本人住民の間に今生まれつつある関係を記述した。塚本(研究協力者)は在スペインのフィリピン人移民のスペイン人観を記述したが、これは旧植民地宗主国に帰化する移民の事例として本研究の視点を相対化するものである。さらに高畑の書いた、在日フィリピン人研究の研究史(英語)を採録したが、とれは、今年度英訳した日本における地域研究の手法に関する論文と共に、研究期間中に情報を提供してもらった英語圏の研究者への返礼を兼ねている。これらの活動の結果、各国の移民出稼ぎ労働者の現状は受け入れ国家の政策、近代化の過程地方と中央の関係に大きく関係し、これらの側面からの比較検討することが有意義であることが判明した。

This year is the final year for many years of research, and the research results will be published publicly. On December 20, the Southeast Asian Historical Society held a regular meeting. A report on the history and status quo of the formation of multi-ethnic societies was published. Obashi (research representative), the position of the giant vision, the movement of the human group, the perspective of the Japanese, the history of the southeast Chi-ling (research partner), Southeast Pacific Islands, China, China, Japan, South Korea, South Takahata (research collaborator) describes the relationship between Nagoya residents and Japanese residents. The author of this paper describes the migration of Chinese immigrants from the old colonial countries. In addition, I have collected and recorded in Takahata's book, the research history (English) of human studies in Japan, and published papers and papers related to regional research methods in Japan this year in the UK and Japan. During the research period, I have provided information and returned gifts to researchers in the English-speaking community. The results of these activities, the status quo of immigration and emigration in various countries, the relationship between the central government and the local government in the process of modernization, and the comparison between the two sides are meaningful.
