项目摘要

本年度(平成17年度)は、非漢字圏の学習者の漢字の字形や意味の認識力を、単に最初期の漢字処理のストラテジーの1つにとどめるのではなく、より長期的、段階的な漢字学習につなげるための教育内容および方法の考察、検討と実践を行った。具体的には、以下1〜3である。1.基礎的研究非漢字圏の初級学習者が最初期に身につけた漢字の字形や意味の認識力を、その後の漢字学習の内容(日本語の語彙としての理解・定着)および方法(認識力向上による漢字学習負担の軽減)にどうつなげることができるか、という点を中心に考察を行い、その実践例とともに前原(2005)で述べた。2.教材の開発および整備前年度に試作した、日常の生活場面における「未知の漢字列の中から漢字の字形や意味を手がかりに情報を取る能力」の向上を目的としたタスク教材の改訂版をクラスで実施し、その効果的な実施の時期(学習段階)やクラス活動のあり方を含め、検討した。また、教室で学習した漢字の意味、機能、語彙を各自が自分のペースで最低限確認できるよう試作中であった、択一型の学習教材を、本センターホームページ上で一部公開した。さらに本年度は、こうした漢字の定着を確認するチェックテストを、初級の後半レベルまで通して整備したほか、認識した漢字から漢字の読み方の推測につなげるタスクなどを新たに開発し、初級後半を含む学習者の漢字学習の内容の充実を図った。3.その他近年の学習環境の拡大に伴う、教材のより効果的な提供方法について、言語工学や認知科学等の知見を参考にしながら、その方向性を模索した。今後、本センターで構築されるeラーニングシステムの中で、本研究の成果をいかに生かすかが、課題として残されている。

This year (Heisei 17), we conducted an investigation and discussion on the teaching contents and methods of Chinese character learning for learners of Chinese characters in non-Chinese character circles, in the initial stage of Chinese character processing, and in the long-term and hierarchical stages.
