本課題の目的は、昭和15年前後に中国南京維新政府が推進していた国民暦(新東亜暦)編纂事業と、日本の東方文化研究所および京都帝国大学理学部宇宙物理学科のメンバーが主体となって推進していた東洋暦術調査との関連性を史料の上から明らかにすることにある。京都大学人文科学研究所には、昭和15年9月に南京において開催された国民暦編纂会議に、当時東方文化研究所の天文暦学研究室主任教授の地位にあった能田忠亮が招聘されたことを示す招聘状のほか、同会議の議事録や会議開催前後に掲載された新聞記事、また新東亜暦編纂事業に関わっていたと思われるメンバー(荒木俊馬、藪内清、高木公三郎、森川光郎)と能田の間に交わされた書簡、紫金山天文台修復作業の経過を示す書類などがあり、本課題ではこれらの資料の整理を行ってきた。その結果、新東亜暦は大東亜共栄圏共通の暦として採用されることはなかったものの、東方文化研究所の東洋暦術調査の研究成果をもとにその編纂事業が行われていたこと、また新東亜暦の問題が起こる以前より、森川光郎、高木公三郎など、京都帝国大学理学部宇宙物理学科のOB等が南京紫金山天文台修復作業に関わっており、その延長線上に昭和15年の会議が開催されていること、また京大宇宙物理学科卒のメンバーの間でも新東亜暦編纂の意義に対する考え方は微妙に異なっていることなどがわかった。本年度は最終年度に相当するため、現在人文科学研究所に残る上述の史料を翻刻し、資料集として報告書を作成する。

The purpose of this project is to promote the compilation of national literature (New East China) by the Nanjing Reform Government of China around the 15th year of Showa, to promote the main body of the Department of Cosmic Physics, Faculty of Science, Kyoto Imperial University, and to explore the relevance of historical materials. Kyoto University Institute of Humanities September 15, 2015, Nanjing, China National Library Compilation Conference, then director of the Astronomy Research Office of the Institute of Oriental Culture, Noda Tadaaki, recruitment report, proceedings of the same conference, publication of news before and after the conference, new East Library Compilation Project (Shunma Araki, Kiyoshi Yauchi, Kosaburo Takagi, Mitsuro Morikawa) and the book series on the restoration work of the Purple Mountain Observatory. This project aims to organize the data. The results of the research on the common problems of the New East Japan and the East Japan, and the research results of the research on the Japanese art of the Institute of Oriental Culture, were compiled by the Institute of Oriental Culture. The problems of the New East Japan were raised before, Morikawa Mitsuro, Takagi Kosaburo, OB, Department of Cosmic Physics, Kyoto Imperial University, etc. The restoration work of Nanjing Zijinshan Observatory The 15th Showa Year Conference was held on the wiring board, and the significance of the compilation of the New Oriental Book of Physics among the staff of the Department of Cosmic Physics at Peking University was subtle and different. This year, the Institute for the Humanities has compiled the above-mentioned historical materials, data sets and reports.
