国家の競争力には政府と企業が注目を寄せている。なぜなら企業が競争力のある国家に営業活動を移動するからである。同時に政府は投資を引き付け職場を増やすために競争力優位性を成し遂げることに注目を寄せている。企業と国家政府観点の違いに関して同じ定義を持つことには2つの大きな問題がある:(ア)今までの研究は主にアメリカに焦点が置かれていること(イ)今までのモデルは国家間によって違いがないと仮定すること。本プロジェクトは日本、中国とオーストラリアにおける競争力の優位性を二つの観点から見た計量分析モデルを作成する。上記のモデルを完了することは2006年3月までの目的だった。下記は成し遂げられた:・国際・国内研究助手の(ア)雇用(イ)養成(ウ)と連携・レターヘッド・封筒・その他のような供給品の供給会社を探し、高質や低コストのバランスを考慮した・日本・中国・オーストラリア活動を行っている企業のサンプルを決め、適当なメール・リストに関するデータを収集・購入・確認がされた・分類された独立変数・従属変数に関する質的な質問表の発展・テスト・作成がされた・層化した産業セクターから選択した日本内外の企業・海外の企業のサンプルに4.5万以上のアンケートに基づいた調査が実行された・質的なデータに基づき、量的な質問表は発展・作成された。・改善したサンプルに5万以上のアンケートは郵送された。上記のタスクを勤勉に実行し、本プロジェクトに関するデータ収集は完了した。研究結果発表の準備は、下記の段階で進める予定である。・手に入れたデータの分析、計量的モデルの作成・要点の追求、研究結果の第二次データとの比較、作成したモデルの検証、追求分析を行い、今年度において研究が完了した。
