项目摘要

中堅看護師7名を研究参加者として看護実践についてのリフレクションについて各40分程度の半構造化面接を行った。逐語禄を作成して質的・帰納的に分析した。逐語録からリフレクションの過程に関する語りの意味が理解できる言葉や文章を抽出し、これをコードとした。抽出したコードの類似性と差異性を検討し、共通する意味をもつものをカテゴリー化した。その結果、看護師のリフレクションについての『自分の態度についての振り返り』『実践と理論の統合』『看護援助を改めて学習』という3つの主要な概念と、それらを支える『話すことで気付かなかった感情を発見』『他者の話を聴いて』『書くことで客観的に』など6つの概念が抽出された。また、リフレクションを取り巻く6つの潜在的問題についてのカテゴリーも抽出された。さらに英国でリフレクションを活用した教育活動に長年従事する8名の教育研究者に、リフレクションを教育することの認識について、半構造化面接を各40〜70分行った。7名の面接内容をデータ化し、質的・機能的に分析した。その結果、『リフレクションの意義と重要性』『リフレクションに必要な能力と困難な面』などの12のカテゴリーが抽出された。個人の経歴や組織の文化までも含めた様々な文化の中にいようとも、ネガティブな感情からリフレクションする傾向は強いという現状が明らかになった。今後は「よりよく理解する」ためにリフレクションを活用した教育方法として、ポジティブな側面からのリフレクションやナラティブや絵コンテの活用による教育方法の可能性も示唆された。なお本研究の一部を「異文化におけるリフレクションを取り巻く潜在的問題についての一考察」としてPractice Development, Action Research and Reflective Practice 6th International Conference2006で報告した。また、本研究成果の報告の一端として、示唆された手法にて2008年3月にワークショップを開催した。
