项目摘要

この研究は(1)地域で障害者スポーツ発展の中核となる組織を作り、活動することによって地域における障害者スポーツの発展を試みること。(2)茨城県における障害者スポーツ研究会を実施し、障害者スポーツに関する情報交換をおこなうこと。(3)茨城県内における障害者スポーツの種目別実施状況を全国の競技団体にアンケート調査を行い、県内の障害者スポーツを行うための方法を調査することと、茨城県における障害者スポーツの活動状況調査を調査すること。(4)大学内に学生を中心とした障害者スポーツのサークルを作り、障害者スポーツ体験を行ない、普及のための母体作りをすること。(5)障害者スポーツ団体との交流を行い、地域における障害者スポーツを普及させることの障害となっている因子を検討すること。以上を目的に2年間で研究を行なった。結果;(1)茨城県障害者スポーツ研究会を立ち上げ、会長に就任した。(2)研究報告会を年1回の割合で開催し、情報交換と研修会を行なった。(3)茨城県では障害者スポーツのクラブ活動が低調で、参加したい種目があっても県内では行なえるものが少なかった。(4)学生の障害者スポーツサークルを立ち上げ、車椅子バスケットボール、ボッチャを中心に、普及活動を行った。(5)障害者スポーツサークルと交流を持ち、普及のためのアンケート調査を行なった。障害者スポーツに対するニーズは非常に高いが、活発でないのは使用できる施設が少ないこと。指導者がいるにも関わらず、結びつける組織がないこと。障害者に、スポーツの情報が届かないことが大きな原因であることが分かった。そのためには情報発信が、非常に大切であることが分かった。
