歯科診療において診断の補助的手段として用いられているX線写真,特にオルソパントモグラムから得られる歯科的所見の個人識別への応用を試みた。資料は,当教室および本学部歯科放射線学教室所蔵の20歳代のオルソパントモグラム449枚である。これらのX線写真を,本研究費の一部で購入したX線フィルム専用スキャナTZー3X(TRUVEL社製)によりスキャニングし,コンピュ-タに入力した。ついでX線写真から得られる歯科的所見をコ-ド化し,これらをコンピュ-タに入力した。所見の分類方法は,残存歯数(27歯以下,28〜30歯,31〜32歯),埋伏歯の有無(無し,1〜2本,3本以上有)および歯髄処置の有無(無し,臼歯部に有り,前歯部に有,臼歯部および前歯部に有り)の3分類10項目とした。入力された各個人のデ-タを基に,総当たり法により,他人間における一致・不一致について検討した。その結果,他人間で最も多く一致した所見は「残存歯数28〜30歯,埋伏歯および歯髄処置無し」と,「残存歯数31あるいは32歯,埋伏歯1〜2本,歯髄処置無し」の場合で,ともに40例ずつ検索された(約8.9%)。ついで「残存歯数28〜30歯,埋伏歯1〜2本,歯髄処置臼歯部に有り」が39例,「残存歯数31〜32歯,埋伏歯1〜2本,歯髄処置臼歯部に有り」が37例の順であった。これら他人間において一致した例をモニタ-画面に呼び出し,齲蝕の処置状況などを肉眼で観察したところ,識別は容易であった。今回の分類方法は,年齢が20歳代のX線写真であり,比較的変化に乏しかったので3分類としたが,実際の個人識別に応用する場合を想定すると,今後は資料を高齢層に求めるとともに,所見をより詳細に分類した上での照合を行ない,検討する必要があると考えている。

The means of assisting in the diagnosis of dentistry are to use X-ray photographs in the middle of the treatment, and in particular to try to identify the individual findings of dentistry. The data show that 449 of the 20-year-old children in the Department of Dental Radiology of the Faculty of Medicine were found in the classroom. The X-ray photography of this study was part of the purchase of X-ray photography by TZ 3X(TRUVEL). The X-ray photos were taken from the dental department. The classification methods observed are: number of residual teeth (27 teeth or less, 28 ~ 30 teeth, 31 ~ 32 teeth), presence or absence of embedded teeth (none, 1 ~ 2 teeth, 3 or more teeth), presence or absence of dental treatment (none, acetabular teeth, anterior teeth, acetabular teeth and anterior teeth), and 3 categories of 10 items. In addition to the above, we also have the following problems: The results showed that most of the patients were found to have "28 ~ 30 teeth remaining, 1 ~ 2 teeth missing, and no tooth disposal" and "31 ~ 32 teeth remaining, 1 ~ 2 teeth missing, and no tooth disposal", and 40 cases were found to have "missing teeth"(about 8.9%). There were 39 cases with "28 ~ 30 teeth remaining, 1 ~ 2 teeth missing, there were defects in the dental treatment" and 37 cases with "31 ~ 32 teeth remaining, 1 ~ 2 teeth missing, there were defects in the dental treatment". For example, if you are looking for a solution to the problem, it is easy to identify it. Today's classification method is based on the 20-year-old X-ray photo, the comparison of the transformation is lacking, and the actual personal identification is used. In the future, the data will be high-level, and the classification will be detailed.
