本研究では、logophoric文(logo文)と非logophoric文(非logo文)の2文型に含まれる日本語再帰代名詞の先行詞の決定過程をon-line課題とoff-line課題で検討した。Kuroda(1973)の定式やChomsky(1981)の束縛理論(非logo文についてのみ該当)によれば、非logo文の再帰代名詞は従属節の主語(S)だけを先行詞とすることができるが、logo文では従属節および主節の主語(M)が先行詞となることができる。研究1(on-line probe-recognition課題;4群42名;文呈示法は文節単位):SないしMをprobeとしてそれぞれの節の直後にprobeを呈示し、その再認に要する反応時間(RT)を求めた結果、文型およびprobeの位置とは無関係にMに対するRT_MがSに対するRT_Sに比べ短かった。(因に、上記の定式や原理の予測によればlogo文ではRT_S〓RT_M、非logo文ではRT_2<RT_M)研究2(on-line先行詞同定課題;4群40名;文呈示法は文節単位):研究1と同じprobe位置で先行詞をできるだけ速く正確に判断させた。その結果、先行詞決定率に文型の差はなく、いずれの文型でもMがSに比べ高い比率で先行詞であるとされた(因に、上記の定式や原理の予測によればlogo文ではS〓M、非logo文ではS>M)研究3(off-line先行詞決定課題;2群136名;文全体呈示法による):logo文ないし非logo文を含む全体で85文(すべて再帰代名詞を含む)の各文について、再帰代名詞の先行詞を判断させた。その結果、判断率に文型の差はなく、各文のもつ特徴により個別に先行詞が決定された。以上の結果から、logo文および非logo文における再帰代名詞の先行詞決定過程においては、Kurodaの定式もChomskyの束縛理論も適用されておらず、日本語話者の言語直観は両文型に含まれる統語構造上の違いに対してinsensitiveであることが明らかになった。本研究をまとめた論文(A4,50頁)は、現在J.Psycholing.Res.で審査中(1993年8月12日投稿)である。

This study examines the process of determining antecedents of Japanese pronouns in both logographic and non-logographic texts, and discusses both on-line and off-line issues. Kuroda'S (1973) formula Chomsky's (1981) theory of constraint (non-logo text) Study 1(on-line probe-recognition project;4 groups of 42 participants; text presentation method: single text section):S_M_probe: single text section: single text: single text: Study 2(on-line antecedents with the same topic;4 groups of 40; text presentation with the opposite text section): Study 1: the same probe position antecedents with the same speed and correct judgment. The results showed that the antecedent determination ratio was higher than that of the antecedent in the text type, and the antecedent determination ratio was higher than that in the text type. The result, judgment rate, text type difference, text characteristics, individual antecedents are determined. As a result, the antecedent decision process of pronouns in logo text and non-logo text is applied to the Chinese and Kuroda's fixed forms. Chomsky's bound theory is applied to the Chinese and Japanese speakers 'speech. This research paper (A4,50 pages) is currently under review by J. Psycholing.Res.(submitted August 12, 1993).
