1.複素平面上の単位開円板上に、分岐点をもつ2葉の被覆面を考える。分岐点が無限個で、単位円周上に集積している場合、その収束する速度が遅いと、被覆面上では単位開円板上に同じだけの有界正則関数しか存在せず、被覆面としての幾何的複雑さが有界正則関数になんら反映されないこと現象が知られている。ところが、分岐点を中心として小さな閉円板を取りいた場合、小閉円板の半径を変えることで、この現象が起こったり、起こらなかったりする。本研究ではこの研究をさらに深め、名工大の中井三留氏、大同工大の瀬川重雄氏等と先生と共に、小閉円板の半径を数量的に評価することに成功した。更に、この評価をもちいて、分岐点を具体的に与えた場合に、この現象が起こるための閉円板を具体的に計算できることを示した。2.リーマン面上の全有界正則環の極大イデアル空間が複素2次元の解析構造をもつ例を構成したが、これに伴い、全有界正則環の同型問題に新たな視点が出てきた。一つは、複素解析構造が1次元的である場合の同型問題で、部分的に肯定的な結果を得ている。もう一つは、高次元複素構造を持つ場合に同型問題を定式化してそれを解くことである。後者は可能性を示す程度の結果を得ている。これらは、改めて論文としてまとめ発表の予定である。3.中路、井上の両氏は、単位開円板上の外関数と極値問題の関係を研究すると共に本研究課題の達成のために、研究討論、資料収集、研究打ち合わせなどで大きな役割を分担して頂いた。
