Recently tall buildings are designed within elasticity for the wind of the 500 years return expectation. In case that the vortex-induced oscillation occurs under stronger wind, it is important to evaluate the structual elasto-plastic stability of a tall building. Structual characteristics should be investigated for wind resistance design. A change of the natural period of the buildings and hysteresis damping have much effect on the aerodynamic forces, so we take the dangerous vibrations of tall buildings into account. The behaviors of the rectangular cylinder in vortex-induced oscillations and unstable oscillations are recorded on VTR.The process of growing vibrating response and the difference between elastic response and elasto-plastic response are investigated. The validity of the simulations is confirmed through the comparison of wind tunnel tests. As a result we understand the elasto-plastic behavior of a tall building in vortex-induced oscillations.
近年来,高层建筑物被设计为具有500年回报预期的弹性风。当高层建筑在强风作用下发生涡激振动时,对结构的弹塑性稳定性进行评估是十分重要的。抗风设计时应研究结构特性。建筑物自振周期的变化和滞回阻尼对气动力的影响很大,因此在计算中考虑了高层建筑的危险振动。用录像机记录了矩形柱在涡激振动和不稳定振动中的行为,研究了振动响应的增长过程以及弹性响应和弹塑性响应的区别。通过与风洞试验结果的对比,验证了模拟结果的正确性。从而了解高层建筑在涡激振动中的弹塑性行为。
