This is the investigation and study of farmhouses in NAKANOMATA village among JOETSU-CITY,NIIGATA prefecture. NAKANOMATA is a village among the hills and heavy snow falls in winter.Most of all farmhouses in the village are now thatched houses and some of them were made in middle of 18th century.The most interesting and rare custom in the village was "Egae" (exchange of houses ). One of the villager exchanged his own house for the house of an unrelated person and he paid the difference in money, when his house was smaller than the other.

本文是对新泻县上越市中野俣村农家乐的调查研究。中野俣是一个小山村，冬天会下福尔斯。村里的大部分农舍现在都是茅草屋，其中一些是在世纪中期建造的。村里最有趣和罕见的习俗是“Egae”（房屋交换）。其中一名村民将自己的房子换成了一个无关人员的房子，并以金钱支付了差价，因为他的房子比另一个小。
