项目摘要

The following points were made clear this year.1) Moral and faith of the Shinshu followers : Family percepts, will, community regulations were collected from the literatures of the places with ardent followers of the Shinshu. With the study of these mateirals, a) ordinary people's life is deeply bound by the Shinshu preachings and faith, b) people were earnest about getting proper rewards for service rendered were known. Thus, it can be said, in post Meiji Restoration period when capitalism was introduced, the spiritual base to perceive it was already formed.2) Immigration of Shinshu followers : Earnest Shinshu Followers did not control the birth artificially, thus increased their population. This coinciding with their diligent ethos, made them very active in migration. This year, a) movement of Hokuriku followers to Kanto-Tohoku area during post Kansei period, b) movement of Hokuriku followers to Hokkaido during post Meiju period, c) migration of West Japan followers to Hawaii and North America were studied. Due to the ascetic migrants, these migrations were of high quality and large in number.

本年度的研究重点是：1）信众的道德与信仰：从信众聚集地的文献中搜集信众的家庭观念、意志、社会规范等。通过对这些材料的研究，a）普通人的生活深深地被信州的说教和信仰所束缚，B）人们对获得适当的回报所做的贡献是认真的。因此，可以说，在明治维新后引进资本主义时，已经形成了认识资本主义的精神基础。2）信州教徒的移民：认真的信州教徒没有人为地控制生育，从而增加了他们的人口。这与他们勤奋的精神相吻合，使他们在移民方面非常活跃。本年度研究了a）后关西时代北陆信徒向关东东北地区的迁移，B）后明治时代北陆信徒向北海道的迁移，c）西日本信徒向夏威夷和北美的迁移。由于苦行僧的移民，这些移民的质量高，数量大。
