1.この研究課題の特徴は実験材料としてビデオ刺激を主に用いることにある。今後の研究における刺激作成が容易になるよう、必要なビデオ機器を新規購入して、既存の機材との最適な組合せを行い、有機的な構成を行うことが、本年度における第一の作業課題であった。なお、いくつかのコンピュータ関連のソフトウエアが必要であるが、その点を除き必要な機材がほぼ揃い、ホームビデオ程度の機器ではあるが、編集を行うのに十分なAVシステムの構成を終了した。2.構成した機器を試用し、その具合を調整する目的もかねて、ビデオ刺激を作成し、それを用いた実験を2つ実施した。その実験のどちらも興味深い結果が得られ、今後さらにデータ分析を続け、論文にして成果を発表する予定である。ただし、これらの研究はビデオ登場人物の被験者による評定など、広い意味での帰属課題を含むものの、一般的な帰属の新しい理論を検定することを目的にしたものではない。今後は、より直接的に帰属の現象を研究材料として理論を提唱し検定できるような内容の実験を行いたい。そのため、引続き刺激作成を計画している。3.これまでの研究の結果、人の行動をビデオ刺激で呈示することについて、予期しなかった問題が存在することが分かった。被験者の中に、ビデオの登場人物が演技していることを強く意識する傾向のある者が、少数ではあるが存在することである。このような研究においてビデオ刺激は、登場者の演技など作為的な操作を必然的に含むことになり、その操作そのものではなく、実験者の別の意図の存在に敏感に反応する被験者の存在はどのように対処すべきか、今後慎重な検討を必要とする問題と思われる。しかしその半面、全体的な実験結果からは、この傾向のある者は数少なく、その影響もそれほど強くないと判断されることをつけ加えておきたい。
