项目摘要

本研究では実験参加者を若者（大学生）から中高年者に広げ、社会的判断・推論過程の働きを二重過程モデルに基づき検討することを目指す。第一段階として、中高年者を対象とした対面での実験室実験を実施し、主たる実験課題が中高年者においても問題なく実施できることが確認できたことを踏まえ、年齢と個人差の影響を検討するための基礎的データを得ることを目的に、オンラインで多くの参加者を対象とする実験を実施した。その実現のために実験用のサーバーを用意し、オンライン実験ができる環境を整えた。調査会社の回答者パネルを利用し、30代～70代までの男女500名（年代、性別により等しい人数を割り付け）を対象に抑制に関わる個人差尺度とImplicit Association Test(IAT）への回答を求めた。顕在的認知・潜在的認知の対象としては、中高年ステレオタイプを取り上げた。抑制に関わる個人差と年齢との関係、また顕在的・潜在的ステレオタイプ認知と年齢の関係、さらには、年齢と個人差の交互作用効果等について分析をし、その成果は学会等で発表の予定である。さらに、上記の回答者を対象に顕在的感情・潜在的感情の抑制に関する実験を別途オンラインで実施した。ステレオタイプの抑制と感情の抑制には異なる要因が関連している可能性も考えられるため、両者を比較することで、抑制過程と関連する個人差について検討するものである。分析結果は、学会等で発表の予定である。
