河野敬雄:至る所微分不可能な実関数のクラスを確率論的方法で構成し、その性質を確率論的に証明した。西和田公正:2つの複素数に対するガウス算術幾何平均の分布を支配している数論的原理が、いくつかのパラメータを含む常微分方程式の解の接続問題としても捉えられることを示し、算術幾何平均のアルゴリズムのパターンとあるモデュラー群との対応関係を明らかにした。宮本宗實:1次元セルオートマトンの平衡分布、極限挙動を調べた。浅野潔:非圧縮性及び圧縮性のオイラー流のexamplesを構成した。森本芳則:1次元Schrodinger作用素の正値性に関するSawyerの結果を用いて楠岡-Strook-保城型作用素が準楕円型になるための必要十分条件を与えた。更に、極大関数の性質を使って、他次元Schrodinger作用素の定値性に関する十分条件を与え、それを用いて、無限次退化の2階楕円型作用素の準楕円性を論じた。
